Common questions, answered.
No catch. We absorb all LLM, hosting, and RAG costs as part of your contract. There are no token limits, no per-query charges, and no overage invoices. Your annual contract covers everything, no matter how much your institution uses the platform. We take the risk, not you.
Annual plans are central to our model because institutional AI is not a subscription, but it's an architectural decision. Monthly pricing is how vendors hide total cost of ownership. Multiply their monthly number by 12, then add LLM usage, overages, agents, and integrations. Our annual FTE pricing is all-in, and the total cost is almost always substantially lower. That said, we also offer paid pilots so you can test at a smaller scale first, validate fit across real workflows and infrastructure, and build internal confidence before committing to an annual contract.
One instructor using one AI tool in one course tells you nothing about how AI will perform at an institutional level. Individual licences create the illusion of low cost while deferring the real complexity, which are governance, data security, LMS integration, and consistent access across departments. When you scale from one course to thousands of students, those gaps become serious problems. We run institutional pilots instead because that's the only meaningful way to evaluate AI at scale while ensuring it meets your security, compliance, and governance requirements from day one.
Absolutely not. Start with one product and add more when you're ready. Adding a product is just the pricing delta, not a full reprice. We have institutions that have run a single product for over a year before expanding, and institutions that started with all three. We meet you where you are.
No. All product updates, model upgrades, and new capabilities for your licensed SKUs are included in your annual contract. You also get direct influence on the product roadmap. Track everything we're building at product.learnwise.ai/roadmap.
We are SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR, FERPA, and TX-RAMP compliant. Your institution retains full data ownership, we never use your data to train any AI model. Data is hosted in your geographic region. A fragmented model with every department using a different AI tool is a governance nightmare. LearnWise gives you a single governed platform you can actually manage. For more information, visit our Trust Center.
We openly encourage institutions to maintain exit flexibility as it's core to our platform philosophy. You can add or remove products based on institutional needs. We earn your trust through outcomes, not contract terms.
